NEWS:

1) Thank you Steve Fratus for hosting the2008 Post- Transplant Games Halloween Party! We all had a blast on November 1 in Steve's gorgeous Castro Valley home. Thanks, everyone for driving in the rain to get there and bringing great food! We had witches, cavemen, hippies, a naughty policewoman, skimpily dressed girls, even a head-hunter! Lots of laughter, lots of memories, lots of love between teammates- that's what Team NorCal is all about! Thank you Cathy for organizing this party!

2) Everyone on Team Nor Cal sends their love and prayers to the family of Eric Penn, who was not able to join us at the Transplant Games this year due to illness. Two-time kidney recipient Eric has been a steering committee member, our team photographer and logo designer for years. Eric Penn passed away on Monday, August 4, 2008 and is deeply missed by all Team Nor Cal members. His services were held on September 21 and Team Nor Cal members united to remember him with love.
